As someone who dreads going to doctors appointments, especially at a new office with a doctor you’ve never met before, I can confidently say that visiting Annapolis Heart was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Dr. Shkullaku was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire appointment. The ladies at the front desk were kind and bubbly which I typically do not see. I appreciate how their office made me feel good about my visit, unlike the typical doctors offices that I dread going to. I highly recommend using Annapolis Heart.
My visit was outstanding from beginning to the end ! The ladies at the reception area were professional, pleasant and helpful. Their smiles made me feel welcomed and erased my anxieties as I entered. My wait time was minimal . I met Michelle to do my preliminary checks – she truly is an asset to your team. Very comforting, professional and friendly. I don’t know who dealt with staff recruitment, but the only thing I can say, you’ve got an absolutely amazing team there.
Dr. Kilical, I was so impressed by the way, you took the time to explain my options. You conveyed the impression, that I was being listened to and understood.

By far the best experience I have ever had with a medical practice. They are extremely attentive and the doctor called me back within hours (not days) with results of my important tests. Very knowledgeable. They have been awesome! Highly recommend.
Why I say this is the best practice for cardiology, I mean the best. Staff are the best. The receptionist and the tech made me feel comfortable and explained to me all what they are doing. Dr.Kilical is the best cardiologist. He answer my questions and allow me call him after hours for any questions I have. I truly say that I’m blessed to have this practice take care of me and my needs.
My husband and I just switched cardiologists, to this wonderful group. The entire staff, from the front desk to the all of the techs – Nuclear Stress test, Echo cardiogram, etc, are the nicest, sincerest, & most caring staff, we have ever encountered! They make you feel as though you are their only patient. Dr Kilical is exactly the same – caring, nice, & sincere. Definitely the staff takes after him!
The docs were both amazing, fun and kept it rapid and not scary. They showed me my tests results and explained my disease state and resolution efficiently and effectively. Rachel and Michelle made it easy and I am grateful!

All of the staff was so friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. From the front desk to the nurses/MAs to the doctors, just fantastic across the board.
I’m surprised that no one has left a review for this terrific doctor. He inserted a stent near my mother’s heart. He immediately came to update me and walked me to where I could wait for her. He was informative, and reassuring. In the follow up visit he continued to educate us and answer questions. He took her blood pressure instead of waiting for an assistant to do it. Based on that he adjusted her medication. I’ll stop writing because I can’t say enough about how helpful he was.
Dr. Kilical is one of my favorite doctors even though I would rather not have a cardiologist. He is very kind and explains everything some things I really didn’t want to hear. He is straight forward and kind. I feel very comfortable when seeing him.

Dr Shkullaku cleaned the calcium out of my left anterior descending coronary artery and implanted a stent. He is a skilled surgeon and and a great doctor. I feel lucky to have him as my doctor.
Dr. Kilical is an excellent doctor who loves his profession and helps people. He can explain very difficult cases with a lot of patience. He is a very good doctor and surgeon. His hands are quick. He is very assuring. As a patient you feel you are in the right place.

The medical assistant who answered the phone and scheduled my testing was absolutely wonderful. She was professional and friendly and really put my mind at ease at a time when I was so unsure and overwhelmed by the unknown. I was able to get in to see a cardiologist within the week which is almost unheard of these days. Dr. Kilacal really listened to my concerns, treated me as a person, and was so methodical and matter of fact about the situation. As a medical professional I can appreciate the time spent explaining the course of treatment and reassuring me — most people think just because you’re a nurse you “already know it.” Even the technician who completed my echo and stress test was so calming and welcoming. I really appreciate the lengths the staff went to to ensure a positive and professional experience. Keep up the great work!
Dr. Segal saw me after I began having frightening heart palpitations and shortness of breath . He was very calming and ordered testing that confirmed my problem. Here I am several years later doing extremely well . The office staff and doctor aids have always been helpful and understanding. I feel lucky that my A-fib and related v- tach are now under control thanks to Dr. Segal’s care.
From the front desk staff to Dr. Shkullaku the whole visit was wonderful. The doctor was running a little behind, but they came in to keep me updated, which was nice. Everyone seemed to be in a great mood and working together which made the whole atmosphere both calm and inviting. I highly recommend.
This has been delayed for quite some time so I apologize in advance to Annapolis Heart and Dr. Baran Kilical and staff. I came in for chest pains. It was a scare but turned out to be no issues. Nevertheless, I was treated so kindly, so decent and respectful. A well oiled assembly line within an efficient machine. If I ever do have legit heart issues, this is the place to go. In an era where health in America is so defined by money and sickness, Annapolis Heart treats you so well with utmost care for each patient. I highly recommend coming here. I hate seeing doctors and getting exams. But Annapolis Heart is where the heart is.
